G. Michelle Goodloe is a licensed clinical social worker in the states of Georgia and Illinois, a published author, and a burnout recovery strategist, dedicated to helping others develop healthy, compassionate relationships with themselves and with others.
With a professional background in providing clinical interventions, compassion-based services and statewide advocacy for people impacted by domestic violence, child abuse and stress-related conflict, the focus of Michelle's career has been to develop and institute accessible and resourceful avenues of support for people recovering from professional burnout and unhealthy work environments.
Michelle earned her Masters of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and her Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University Bloomington. Over the past ten years, she has held clinical roles in domestic violence programs, community counseling groups and private practice settings.
Her professional experience as a social worker includes working directly with individuals, groups and families with organizations such as the Indiana, Illinois and Georgia Departments of Child and Family Services, Learning Through Play Child Development Center, the Illinois Early Intervention Program and Between Friends Domestic Violence Agency. Michelle was the first Child and Youth Project Manager with the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence, where she developed, coordinated and facilitated local, regional and statewide training opportunities and technical assistance for Georgia direct service providers of child and youth witnesses of intimate partner violence.
