  • Releasing the Pressure: Stress Awareness

    This workshop breaks down how burnout and stress show up in helping professionals. Participants will learn about the causes of burnout and stress in work environments and will be guided through self-reflection exercises to increase their understanding of their own stress levels and signs of burnout.

  • Protect & Preserve: Assertive Boundary Setting

    This workshop will discuss how to establish and maintain boundaries as part of a self-care practice. Participants will begin learning how to develop an assertive boundary setting practice through journaling exercises, boundary setting strategies and a variety of ideas to help strengthen their ability to set and maintain boundaries.

  • Just a Second: Productive Time Management

    This workshop will explore the concept of time scarcity and its relationship to burnout. Participants will learn how time scarcity has impacted their work style and performance and will learn time management strategies around differentiating urgency and importance for short and long term tasks.

  • Help Received: Resourceful Task Delegation

    This workshop will discuss ways helping professionals can mindfully and tactfully give and accept help. Participants will explore burnout-fueling habits around delegating tasks in the workplace, participate in activities to organize tasks and begin engaging in team-oriented ways to ask for help.

  • Pouring Into You: Compassionate Self-Care Practice

    This workshop look into how to implement self-compassion into a self-care practice. Participants will engage in guided journaling exercises to reflect on their self-care needs, learn about 8 different types of self-care and begin developing a customized self-care practice to prevent and recover from burnout.

  • Reflect, Review, Reset: How to Design Your Most Effective Burnout Recovery Practice

    This workshop offers participants the opportunity to create, update and evaluate how to design their ideal burnout recovery practice.

    In this session, participants will explore the do's and don'ts of restorative self-care and learn mindful and practical solutions to resist and recover from burnout.

  • Understanding the Strong Black Superwoman Narrative

    This workshop dives into the origin story of the “Strong Black Superwoman” narrative. In this session, participants will explore the history behind this narrative, assess how it has been taking up space and how it has impacted the day-to-day life of high-achieving Black women.

  • Exploring Safety in Strength and Rest

    This workshop, participants will receive the opportunity to look into the barriers to recovering from burnout and engaging in self-care as high-achieving Black women. This workshop offers participants the opportunity to discuss emotional safety ideas and identify self-care needs.

  • Designing a Well-Rested Life

    This workshop guides participants into the first steps for designing her burnout recovery plan. Participants will engage in guided journaling to begin crafting her own burnout recovery plan for multiple areas of her life.

    This session offers participants the opportunity to decrease the pressure to always "be strong" and strengthens her ability to navigate burnout-causing stressors.

    This workshop includes:

    - Resource guide for designing a well-rested life

  • Protecting What's Important to You

    This workshop dives into the difficulty of setting boundaries as a high-achieving Black woman. Participants will explore utilizing boundaries as an act of self-preservation, develop a mindfulness practice for when to engage in boundary setting and receive strategies to begin implementing boundaries in her professional and personal life.

    This workshop includes:

    - Boundary setting strategy session

    - Resource video for group discussion

  • Embracing Enoughness & Abundance

    This workshop breaks down the impact of scarcity and how this helps shape the Strong Black Superwoman narrative.

    In the first part of this session, participants will be guided into re-writing what it means to be and feel like enough on her burnout recovery journey. In the second part of this session, participants receive tools to begin developing her Circle of Support.

    This workshop includes:

    - Guided journaling prompts

    - Interactive group activity

    - Resource guide and referral options to create "Circle of Support"

  • Welcoming New Versions of Success

    This workshop takes a look at what it means for high-achieving Black women to be and feel successful. This workshop spotlights the impact of patriarchy and capitalism on her ideas of success and creatively explores burnout-resistant approaches to welcome in new versions of success.

    This workshop includes:

    - Resource video for group discussion

    - Guided journaling prompts

    - Resource guide on burnout-resistant approaches to success

  • Discovering Joy in Self-Celebration

    This workshop is an invitation for each participant to engage in self-celebration as a restorative self-care practice.

    In this session, participants explore different ways to engage in self-celebration and are guided through a series of prompts to create a "Well-Rested Life" recipe to take with them.

  • Each workshop is 60-minutes and can be modified for time or extended for additional time to process the content, engage in discussion and/or answer questions.
