These past 5 years, helping professionals are amongst the highest to be directly impacted by the weight of their work.
Risks such as burnout, chronic stress and compassion fatigue are highly prevalent and significantly problematic for helping professionals who are dedicated and skilled at the work that they do.
In the Helping the Helper workshop, attendees are invited to learn about the unique causes of burnout for helpers, how to self-identify aspects of compassion fatigue, and how to develop an effective and practical burnout recovery plan to support their well-rested life.
Many helping professionals are compassionate, caring and generous in the work that we do. And many helping professionals are completely and utterly exhausted — physically and emotionally.
While we’re taking care of everyone else, our own well-being is frequently neglected and deprioritized.
Helpers deserve a space to cultivate burnout recovery strategies that align with what we do and recognize the unique position we are in. We care for others and we too deserve care.
In this workshop, we will explore the strategies, tools and support you need as a caring, deserving helping professional.
